When we started to brew it, Black Biddy was the first new stout in Ireland in more than 200 years. With a rich fruity taste and a roasted aftertaste, it tastes like stout used to in Ireland. Black Biddy has received numerous accolades and received several awards - read more in the Reviews section. | The ingredients include roast barley, crystal malt, pale ale malt, and British hops. Carrigeen Moss, picked in nearby Liscannor Bay, is used to fine the beer. Fining is a technique that causes solids to drop out of the beer.
